About the Chesapeake Bay Sabre Association
The Chesapeake Bay Sabre Association (CBSA) was founded in 1978 to serve those who own, formerly owned, or sail in Sabre yachts, both sail and power, and their friends, or those who just enjoy the camaraderie that results from sharing voyages on the Bay. Activities of the Association include:
- Weekend rendezvous in favorite anchorages.
- An annual Spring social and business luncheon meeting, featuring a guest speaker discussing topics of interest to those who sail the Chesapeake and areas beyond.
- Web based newsletters with tips on sailing, schedules and reports of rendezvous, and an annual membership listing.
- An annual Fall " By Land and By Sea " race and dinner banquet where members from all anchorage's on the Bay can gather by vehicle or by boat.
- Group purchases of equipment and accessories.
- 50% Reduced membership fee in BOAT/U.S. Members are provided the opportunity to share their experiences and adventures, to trade advice and tips on sailing in and maintaining Sabre yachts, and to keep up-to-date on Sabre news.
Membership dues are $10 per year. Print and fill out the CBSA Membership Application to join. Mail with a check to the CBSA Membership Chairman as indicated on the form.
